The Global Associate Director, Business Analyst Pipeline & Portfolio reports to the Global Head, Regulatory, Patient Safety and Pipeline & Portfolio Solutions.
The role acts as an advisor providing guidance to improve global business processes and software through business process analysis & optimization and subsequent implementation in IT systems. Engage with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate Technology teams to determine business requirements, evaluate suitable technology support and drive system implementation to create business value and success.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Lead the process of gathering and analyzing business requirements from key stakeholders, translating them into clear, actionable specifications for Salesforce solutions.
- Salesforce Solution Design: Design Salesforce solutions that meet business needs, utilizing best practices and Salesforce features such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
- Business Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing business processes using Salesforce automation tools like Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow, ensuring that workflows are streamlined and efficient.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding between both groups for the seamless delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Customization and Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet specific business requirements, ensuring that the platform is tailored to the organization’s needs while maintaining compliance with Salesforce best practices.
- Data Management and Reporting: Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards within Salesforce to provide insights into business performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and alignment with business processes through APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Continuous Improvement and System Enhancements: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem, proposing and implementing enhancements to improve functionality, user experience, and business value.
- Validation and Testing: Guide the product/project teams supporting validation and testing as appropriate and ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope.
What you’ll bring to the role:Essential Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of industry experience in IT, healthcare, or pharma; expert understanding of technology and methodologies as applied in the respective area.
- Consultancy background, experience as Salesforce Consultant / Business analyst in complex multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experience in SDLC (Salesforce) and implementation of complex custom Salesforce-based solutions in a heterogenous stakeholder environment.
- Expert understanding of business process analysis & design and system architecture concepts.
- Deep knowledge of IT and business processes and experience in validated environments (GxP)
- Experience in Pharmaceutical / Generics industry, Pipeline & Portfolio processes from ideation to launch (Product Selection, Allocation, Forecasting, etc.) considered a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge in Salesforce, Salesforce consultant or Salesforce architect certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Networking with key business and IT stakeholders and ability to present to stakeholder groups.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at team and management levels, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
- Strong internal and/or external influencing skills to achieve the program objectives.
- Analytical, process-oriented with a keen interest to drive continuous improvements.
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly matrixed and multi-cultural environment, taking full ownership of deliverables.
- Acting as a role model for all people within the organization
- Strong can-do attitude and results-focused, with capability to think strategically.
Education:
University degree or various degrees in business, computer science, information technology discipline or equivalent, MBA optional
Languages:
English excellent fluency in oral and written.
