This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with an in-scope CI poly.

We're hiring multiple Geospatial Analysts to join our team, which works directly with U.S. Government customers to conduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using geospatial tools, methods, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social, and physical sciences.  Analysts will support an Object-Based Intelligence (OBI) program focused on predictive analytics and structured intelligence integration across the defense intelligence enterprise. In this role, you will apply advanced geospatial techniques to analyze the spatial and temporal dimensions of objects, networks, and entities. You will support mission-driven intelligence questions by fusing imagery, terrain, movement, and environmental data to uncover patterns, forecast activity, and contribute to early warning of strategic and operational developments. Analysts will work across diverse mission areas—including emerging technologies, military modernization, and transnational threats—using geospatial data to inform structured analytic methods and semantic integration efforts.

Responsibilities: A day in the life/What the position will be doing:

  • Exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to include non-geospatially correlated data to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.
  • Provide analysis on terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for geospatial expertise, ensuring tradecraft compliance analytic standards as it relates to geospatial analysis.
  • Provide advice on emerging geospatial methods, tools, algorithms, training, or requirements.
  • Employ new and improved methods or data sets to address information gaps and identify areas of information to help resolve complex analytical problems and to ensure solutions to analytical problems are rigorous and logical.
  • Effectively manage data volume, variety, and trustworthiness to reach analytic conclusions.
  • Develops or discovers algorithms and solutions to analyze, process, or visualize data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US citizen and have an active TS/SCI with CI poly.
  • 12 years of experience and an advanced degree
  • Significant experience with ArcGIS and/or QGIS software.
  • Experience in cartography and creating map products for DoD or IC customers.
  • Experience collaborating across the DoD, IC, CCMDs, Foreign Partners, Academia and Industry.
  • Experience integrating geospatial data, techniques, and tools into analytic workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The GEOINT Professional Certification – Geospatial Analysis (GA-II)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Python, including Jupyter Notebooks or ArcGIS notebooks.
  • Familiarity with technical intelligence data or similar high-volume datasets.

Pay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

 ● The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $118,000.00 - $196,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
