As General Manager for US West & Canada, you will own the regional P&L, build and lead a high-performing team, and accelerate market growth across key hubs, including Los Angeles, Seattle and Toronto. Acting as the face of Blacklane in the region, you will represent the brand to customers, partners, and external stakeholders while reporting to the Americas CEO. This role calls for a dynamic, strategic leader with sharp analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-evolving market environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • Market Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy tailored for US West & Canada’s unique dynamics, balancing the needs of corporate travel, airport transfers, and premium leisure clients. Position Blacklane as the premier chauffeur service throughout the region.
  • P&L Management: Own the US West & Canada P&L, ensuring financial goals are achieved through smart planning, operational efficiency, and proactive cost management in a geographically diverse market.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing local team of operations, marketing, sales and account management. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates and retains top talent in a vast region.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service to high-value clients — from corporate executives to luxury hospitality partners — ensuring customer retention and repeat bookings.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Represent Blacklane across the region’s premium ecosystem. Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as corporate travel managers, five-star hotels, premium lifestyle brands, and airport authorities.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize tools such as Google Suite and Tableau to analyze data, track performance, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Leadership: Charismatic leader who can inspire and lead a geographically distributed team.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinker: Able to design and execute strategies adapted to both urban corporate hubs and seasonal tourism peaks.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the luxury/premium industry (e.g., high-end hotels, resorts, or tourism services) and ideally in mobility or startup environments.
  • Dynamic and Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic initiatives with urgent operational tasks.
  • Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the US & Canada’s premium mobility market, including tourism trends, airport dynamics, and cross-border corporate travel between the US and Canada.
  • P&L Management: Strong preference for experience driving revenue growth (e.g., sales, marketing) in addition to cost management.

The salary range for this role is $158,000 – $210,000 annually with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and VSOP. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
