Now, we’re looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial General Manager of LatAm to deepen these relationships, scale our presence, and drive the next phase of growth across the region.
As General Manager of LatAm, you will:- Lead all customer-facing functions in the region, including Customer Success, Sales, and Partnerships.
- Oversee the regional customer success team to ensure strong client outcomes, retention, and expansion.
- Drive new business generation, including pipeline development, lead generation, and senior-level prospect engagement.
- Activate Agency business through strategic relationships and prioritization.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, prospects, agencies, and platform partners to strengthen our market position.
- Own and execute Smartly’s go-to-market strategy for LatAm, including competitive positioning, pricing, and narrative.
- Shape and implement the regional hiring strategy, ensuring we build and scale the right teams to meet market opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with global leadership, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, to align LatAm’s strategy with overall company priorities.
- Represent Smartly externally as a senior leader and spokesperson in the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Proven experience as a Head of Region, GM, or senior commercial leader overseeing multiple functions (e.g. Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships).
- Deep expertise in the digital advertising ecosystem, with strong knowledge of agencies, brands, and platform partners in LatAm.
- Strong track record in building and scaling teams, with experience in hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing leaders.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, building C-level relationships, and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to shape go-to-market narratives, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in Spanish and Portuguese (English proficiency also required).
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
