We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Unit Leader to drive the next chapter of growth for a rapidly scaling business unit. This executive will define and execute the commercial, operational, and clinical strategies required to achieve double-digit growth, expand market share, and deliver best-in-class solutions to customers worldwide. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and has a proven track record of turning strategy into results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Define and execute a comprehensive business unit strategy aligned with corporate objectives, balancing short-term performance with long-term value creation.

  • Lead annual operating plan development, forecasting, and strategic initiatives to support revenue acceleration and profitability.

P&L Ownership & Financial Performance

  • Own full P&L accountability for the business unit, including revenue, profitability, margin expansion, and cost optimization.

  • Ensure disciplined financial management and performance tracking using KPIs and financial dashboards.

Commercial Excellence & Market Development

  • Drive sales, marketing, and market development initiatives to capture new opportunities and expand market share.

  • Champion a customer-centric approach that builds competitive differentiation and long-term loyalty.

Clinical, Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

  • Oversee execution of clinical studies and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and global regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to support submissions, audits, and successful product launches.

Operations & Supply Chain Collaboration
  • Partner with operations to ensure reliable product availability, quality, cost efficiency, and scalable supply chain performance.

  • Drive process optimization to support growth and operational excellence.

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, HR, and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver on strategic objectives.

  • Support new product launches and sustain ongoing compliance and customer commitments.

Talent Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop functional leaders across sales, marketing, and product development.

  • Build a high-performing, succession-ready organization that can scale with the business.

External Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with KOLs, distributors, health systems, and key industry stakeholders to accelerate growth.

  • Represent the company externally with credibility, vision, and commercial acumen.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BS/BA degree with exceptional business experience (MBA preferred).

  • 12+ years of progressive business leadership experience (healthcare not required).

  • 2+ years in P&L management role with full business unit accountability.

  • Experience at mid-sized company ($50M - $300M revenue) with high growth environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding revenue and profitability targets.

  • Demonstrated success building high-performance teams in growth environments.
