About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our new entity in Canada. This role will be responsible for building Dandy Canada from the ground up! The GM will deliver localized market analysis, set up our operations in Canada, and develop the business strategy to ensure successful market entry and sustainable growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for Canada

  • Develop and maintain initial customer base

  • Develop and manage the Canadian business plan, including budget, revenue targets, and operational KPIs

  • Create and implement localized marketing and sales strategies

  • Report on market performance and opportunities to global leadership

  • Establish key business relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders in the Canadian market

  • Represent the company to Canadian government officials, industry associations, and business networks

  • Ensure compliance with all Canadian federal and provincial regulations - in partnership with Legal

  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed to stand up Dandy Canada

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive management experience

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously

  • Resilient and adaptable in navigating ambiguity and change

  • Results-oriented with high accountability

  • Proven track record of successfully launching or scaling operations

  • Ability to understandDandy’s business and operations end-to-end

  • Understanding of the Canadian business environment, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape

  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in business development, sales leadership, and P&L management

Bonus Points For

  • Strong network of business contacts in Canada

  • Bilingual English/French proficiency strongly preferred

Location

  • Based in Toronto, with regular travel throughout Canada and occasionally to other Dandy sites
