This is a highly strategic and execution-oriented role requiring strong cross-functional leadership, operational rigor, and executive-level communication skills. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influence without authority, and deliver measurable impact at scale.

Success Metrics
  • Increase in active customer count for Informed Design

  • Improvement in activation and onboarding completion rates

  • Growth in key feature utilization

  • Retention and expansion indicators linked to adoption programs

  • Timely delivery of strategic initiatives and executive reporting

Key Responsibilities1. Define and Own the Scaled Adoption Strategy
  • Develop and maintain a multi-quarter self-serve product adoption strategy for Informed Design, aligned to business growth objectives.

  • Translate strategic priorities into a clear implementation roadmap with defined milestones, KPIs, and success metrics.

  • Identify adoption barriers across customer segments and implement scalable solutions to increase product activation, usage, and expansion.

  • Partner with Product to align adoption initiatives with roadmap priorities and product capabilities.

2. Drive Cross-Functional Execution
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Operations to ensure coordinated self-serve adoption efforts.

  • Serve as the central point of accountability for adoption-related initiatives, ensuring programs are delivered on time and with measurable impact.

  • Influence stakeholders at multiple levels to prioritize initiatives that drive customer growth and product utilization.

3. Build and Scale Adoption Programs
  • Design and operationalize scalable programs that increase product awareness, onboarding effectiveness, and sustained usage.

  • Segment customers appropriately and tailor strategies for different maturity levels and use cases.

  • Establish repeatable frameworks for onboarding, education, enablement, and customer engagement that can scale globally.

4. Manage Content Development & Contractors
  • Define the content strategy required to support adoption (e.g., playbooks, tutorials, customer stories, enablement materials).

  • Manage contractors and external resources to develop high-quality adoption content efficiently and at scale.

  • Ensure content aligns with product positioning, customer needs, and measurable adoption outcomes.

5. Data, Measurement & Executive Reporting
  • Establish and track clear adoption KPIs (e.g., activation rates, feature usage, retention indicators, expansion signals).

  • Use data to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and recommend course corrections.

  • Provide succinct, executive-ready updates to Leadership, including progress against goals, risks, and recommended actions.

  • Build dashboards or reporting mechanisms that create ongoing visibility into adoption performance.

6. Continuous Optimization
  • Implement feedback loops from customers and internal stakeholders to refine self-serve adoption programs.

  • Test and iterate on messaging, onboarding approaches, and engagement strategies to improve performance over time.

  • Benchmark against industry best practices in product-led growth and scaled adoption.

Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of experience in product growth, customer success, product marketing, lifecycle management, or related functions.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing scaled product adoption or growth strategies in a SaaS or technology environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution capability.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

  • Experience managing contractors or external partners for content development or program delivery.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product usage data and business metrics.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with product-led growth models or usage-based adoption frameworks.

  • Familiarity with AEC, design, or manufacturing workflows.

  • Experience launching or scaling new products within an existing customer ecosystem.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
