Role Overview
We’re looking for a versatile, high-impact GenAI Value Engineer to join our AI services team. This is not a narrow role – it’s designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity and can seamlessly shift between client delivery, rapid experimentation, hands-on education, and internal capability building.
You’ll lead the charge in applying generative AI to real-world challenges, especially in complex, regulated environments. This role is perfect for a proactive self-starter who knows how to turn insight into action without waiting for permission.
Mortgage industry experience is preferred. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to get smart fast. This role will work closely with mortgage clients, and it’s your responsibility to ramp quickly on the domain.
You must be highly comfortable operating independently. This role requires initiative, ownership, and the ability to lead engagements, experiments, and learning efforts with minimal oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Professional Services Delivery
- Lead client engagements to scope, prototype, and deliver GenAI-powered workflows.
- Translate business and operational pain points into LLM-based solutions.
- Run discovery sessions, use case sprints, and prompt engineering labs with stakeholders.
- AI Experimentation & Prototyping
- Stand up fast-cycle experiments and PoCs using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.
- Package successful experiments into reusable artifacts: prompt libraries, workflows, and solution playbooks.
- Collaborate with SMEs, compliance, and technical partners to validate and refine concepts.
- Education & Enablement
- Facilitate live GenAI learning experiences – intro sessions, role-based labs, and problem-solving workshops.
- Build and deliver enablement materials: guides, templates, videos, job aids, and micro-learning tools.
- Act as a trusted advisor to teams navigating AI adoption, capability gaps, and workflow redesign.
- Learning Lab & Activation
- Launch and operate internal or client-specific “GenAI Labs” to drive adoption and learning-by-doing.
- Create frameworks to help teams explore, experiment, and socialize wins across the organization.
- Capture real-world insights to inform product, content, and go-to-market strategies.
What You Bring
- Must-Have:
- 3–8 years in consulting, product enablement, innovation, or applied business strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions, and lead client work without constant oversight.
- Hands-on experience using generative AI for work – building prompts, workflows, and proof-of-concepts.
- Excellent facilitation and storytelling skills – you’re a bridge between business, compliance, and tech.
- Ability to think and act fast in fluid environments, with strong executional follow-through.
- Self-directed learner with high curiosity and a bias toward action.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Mortgage, fintech, or regulated industry experience (preferred, not required – but willingness to learn is non-negotiable).
- Familiarity with AI safety, governance, and compliance.
- Ability to use or teach tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, LangChain, or similar.
- Experience in startups, consulting, internal strategy, L&D, or innovation teams.
What Success Looks Like:
- Clients move from “what is this?” to “we’re using this” – with your guidance.
- Experiments are executed, refined, and scaled into reusable solutions.
- GenAI learning labs unlock energy, capability, and adoption across the enterprise.
- You become the go-to expert for AI-powered business transformation – especially in mortgage.
