GenAI Full Stack Engineer
$90-100/hr on W2 | Must be able to work PST Hours | Remote | 6 Month Contract with Chance of Renewal

Del Oro Consulting is a national consulting solutions provider with more than 20 years of experience supporting global technology leaders. We are seeking a GenAI Full Stack Engineer to support a high-impact initiative with one of our clients, a leading IT consulting and services firm specializing in cloud, infrastructure, digital workplace solutions, and emerging technologies. 

This role combines hands-on full stack engineering with GenAI application development, API and data integration, and solution design. The engineer will also lead technical assessments, ensure compliance and integration readiness, and contribute to developing business cases that guide future implementation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deliver a prototype GenAI application with integrated APIs and review interfaces
• Partner with SMEs to validate functionality and ensure business relevance
• Conduct AI feasibility, data readiness, compliance, and risk assessments
• Define solution architecture, design patterns, and integration plans
• Develop an implementation roadmap, KPIs, and ROI models
• Present findings and ensure quality, timely delivery throughout the engagement

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years in IT with at least 5 years in consulting roles
• Hands-on experience building GenAI/ML applications and human-in-the-loop systems
• Proficiency with full stack development (Next.js or React, TypeScript)
• Experience building microservices and APIs
• Database expertise: NoSQL and SQL
• Experience with cloud services and DevOps practices
• Cloud certifications preferred
• Strong background in data readiness, compliance, and risk assessment in regulated industries (healthcare a plus)
• Proven ability to create technical design documents, ROI models, and implementation roadmaps

Details of the Position

• Work Arrangement: Remote
• Rate: $90-$100/hr, W2 Contract (6 months with potential for extension)
