The Gaming Insights Analyst will gather and analyze data insights for the gaming market, create reports, and present findings to clients.
As an Insights Analyst with focus on driving insights for the gaming industry, you will support our gaming and marketing team on construction of insights about the mobile gaming & PC/Console market. The insights you find will be used both internally and externally, so you will often visualize your findings - and may present these findings to our customers from time to time.
Our gaming customers are some of the most sophisticated users of our platform and the gaming industry, itself, is a quickly evolving one. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about the ever-changing gaming ecosystem spanning PC/Console & Mobile and engage with executives and members of high-growth technology companies. Our customers, sales team, and account managers will all look to you as the expert of the gaming industry.
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
What the Gaming Insights Analyst will do:
- Work autonomously to create data-driven content that supports Sensor Tower’s efforts in growing our expertise in the Gaming industry
- Leverage Sensor Tower’s treasure trove of mobile, digital & gaming datasets to identify interesting insights and content ideas for driving customer engagement
- Weigh in on the ever changing landscape of the gaming industry
- Help conceptualize compelling data visualizations to create and enhance marketing and sales collateral
- Deliver custom reports and findings to our Enterprise customers
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand their content needs; develop and follow through on plans to address their requests in a timely manner
Skills and experience the candidate can bring:
- 2+ years of professional work experience as an analyst and/or gaming industry
- Innate interest in the gaming, and general data
- Familiarity with and/or exposure to the games industry
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and/or similar spreadsheet packages
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Detail-oriented; exceptional ability to document and follow processes
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer experience
Nice to have:
- Technical or analytical work/internship experience is preferred
- A passion for data analysis, gaming or learnings about the ecosystem
- Enjoy working in small, fast-paced teams where you can take initiative and accountability, and generate results every day
