Job Title: Sales Director
Location: Beverly Hills, CA; In-Person (5 Days a Week)
Status: Full-time; Exempt
Reports to: Managing Director
Direct Reports: N/A
Typical Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Monex USA guides thousands of clients, from a broad spectrum of industry sectors, through the intricacies of the currency markets. Our unique market insight is widely recognized in main-line business media such as The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, and CNBC. 
Monex is looking for a dynamic FX Sales Director to join our team. Ideal candidates will have proficient analytical and communication skills and strong desire to advance sales skills and pursue a sales career. They will be responsible for working closely with financial decision makers of multinational organizations to help them navigate the intricacies of the FX market, in addition to all FX sales-related job functions including: deal entry, trade confirmations, client engagements and more. Additionally, the Sales Director will collaborate with various internal teams (Marketing, Compliance, Operations) to actively manage ongoing client relationships. Goals are to develop new and existing client relationships and improve profitability holistically.
Responsibilities

  • Independently manage leads through the entire sales process.
  • Record all client/prospect communication on our CRM system ensuring details are accurate and up to date.
  •  Perform to specific KPI’s set by Monex.
  • Negotiate fees and implementing spreads for new clients as well as constantly looking for ways to improve profitability by optimizing revenues and volumes from existing clients.
  • Manage existing relationships to ensure clients are serviced in an efficient manner.
  • Understand client/prospect needs to provide timely and relevant market information and customized solutions.
  • Build on existing relationships, by developing a deep understanding of client’s business model and FX risks.
  • Deliver high quality customer service, by maintaining a strong focus on client needs, to meet expectations.
  • Prospect new sales opportunities by using cold calling (this is major part of the job), emailing and other relevant methods.
  • Analyze clients’ business objectives and identify their FX and international payment needs. 
  • Establish rapport with prospects, identify key decision-makers, and schedule meetings, when appropriate.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline reports, and compile competitor information.
  • Maintain leads and accounts in our CRM.
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue targets.
  • Perform other sales-related tasks. 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in FX B2B sales-driven environment
  • A BA/BS degree
  • The candidate should possess a consultative sales approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong drive to succeed, determination and persistence.
  • High ethical business standards.
  • Ability to ask probing questions to understand the needs of a prospect with the skill to appropriately suggest dynamic solutions.
  • High degree of professionalism, with a confident and assertive style.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Understanding of product and market knowledge including FX spot, forwards, and international payments is a plus.

Travel Requirements

  • 15% travel

Compensation

  • The annual salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience plus a competitive commission package. Potential year one earnings of around $146,000.
