About the Role & Program:

The FX Content and Editorial Team is tasked with the creation and execution of AV marketing materials for our program launches and branding projects.


We’re looking for an intern who is curious about how a story becomes a compelling piece of marketing, and who enjoys the careful, collaborative work behind it. 


You’ll work closely with a Senior Writer/Producer and learn how a campaign develops from early ideas through finished assets. You’ll be encouraged to share your point of view, ask questions, and grow your creative skills while helping the team stay organized and on schedule.


This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, California area from January 2027 – June 2027.


What You Will Do:


  • Watch episodes and create accurate logs with timecodes, identifying dialogue, images, performances, and story beats that could support a creative concept.
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and explain what draws you to a particular angle or moment.
  • Help track assets and notes so the team has clear, current information. 
  • Assist with writing and revising promo scripts, copy, and other creative materials. 
  • Work with producers and other team members, communicate progress clearly, and incorporate feedback into your work.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and new technologies to give fresh ideas that will keep our content relevant and engaging.

Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • Demonstrated interest in storytelling, television, trailers, creative marketing, or media content through coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
  • Experience managing multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills and experience incorporating feedback to improve written, creative, or presentation materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, communicate proactively, and follow through on assigned projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:


  • Previous experience in media, entertainment, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred  
  • Majoring in film, marketing, or creative writing, or have had related coursework

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization


 Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from January 2027 through June 2027
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, primarily, and occasionally nights and weekends for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, CA area

The pay rate for this role in California is $23.00 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
