BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting Functional Analysts for the OARS Financial Management (FM) System Consolidation Analysis and Roadmap effort. This role brings together federal financial management, technology integration and enterprise transformation expertise.

What will you do

Help shape how financial management processes and systems can be consolidated. You will connect functional needs with technical options and contribute to a roadmap that supports federal financial operations and shared services.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial management requirements, including accounting, payroll and workforce processes, and translate them into system, data and architecture needs.
  • Work with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and explain the business implications of technology choices.
  • Assess shared services operating models across governance, organizational structures, business processes, technology and performance management.
  • Identify opportunities for system consolidation and process improvement while considering federal accounting, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute functional analysis and recommendations to the consolidation roadmap, aligning business priorities with technology and transformation planning.
Requirements
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Financial management and technology integration expertise, with the ability to translate between business requirements and system, data and architecture solutions.
  • Federal financial management experience and a strong understanding of financial operations, accounting practices, and audit and compliance requirements within DoD, Defense agencies or other federal organizations.
  • Experience supporting or leading large-scale transformation, including the design, implementation or optimization of shared services operating models in complex public-sector or large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to work effectively between functional and technical stakeholders and communicate across both perspectives.

This is a remote position.
