At System Six, we're trying to build one of the best places to work in remote professional services - a place where our team members are the most important part of our business and where they consistently experience joy, flexibility and rewarding compensation. We are a fast growing, modern, 100% remote team delivering full-cycle accounting, tax, and other professional services to hundreds of U.S. clients.

We are actively seeking a Sales Coordinator to directly support our Head of Sales and Business Development. You'll own the follow-through such as keeping our CRM clean, tracking what's open, and making sure senior leaders respond to what needs their attention through the sales pipeline. You'll also learn to close a defined set of small, repeatable deals on your own. This is a role for someone who is organized, persistent, and takes real pride in making sure nothing slips.

This position is available for US-based individuals seeking full-time work (40 hours a week), allowing you to balance other important parts of your life with an exciting, fulfilling career. Our talented team loves System Six and we can’t wait to show you how that energy permeates throughout our organization.

So what are we looking for in an ideal candidate?
  •  1–3 years of experience in a sales, sales support, or client-facing business development role. CRM proficiency required (HubSpot strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting executives or senior team members in an admin or coordination capacity
  • Meticulous about data. You maintain clean, accurate records and spot when things are slipping
  • Strong communicator. Email and screen-based correspondence is a core part of this job
  •  You own your work. Nothing slips without you knowing about it, and you fix it before anyone asks
  • Relentless follow-through. Senior leaders don't intimidate you; you'll send the third follow-up because it's the right thing to do
  • Moves with purpose and prioritizes effectively across competing demands
  • A professional warmth. Think junior sales rep who also happens to be the most organized person in the room — firm, friendly, and always on it
  • Nice to haves that set you apart from the crowd: a background in public accounting, bookkeeping, or an accounting-adjacent role, or experience supporting outbound sales campaigns using tools like Apollo or Outreach. Familiarity with the lower middle market or M&A ecosystem is a plus, as is experience working in a fast-growing professional services or B2B environment.
What does the day to day look like for this role?
  • Sales execution. You'll manage a pipeline of inbound leads and support the Head of Sales in moving deals forward. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to own the full cycle on smaller engagements — running discovery calls, building proposals, and closing.
  • CRM & administration. You own HubSpot. That means clean data, accurate contact records, up-to-date deal stages, and supporting outbound activity with organized follow-through. You'll also build and manage proposal templates as needed.
  • Internal coordination. You're the one who makes sure nothing stalls. You'll track open items, draft follow-up communications, and hold senior team members accountable to pipeline commitments — including pushing cross-functional teams when deals need to move.
  • Client onboarding. When a deal closes, you don't disappear. You'll coordinate intake forms, engagement letters, and internal handoffs, serving as the bridge between sales and the delivery team until the client is fully handed off.

Importantly, here’s what’s in it for you:

  • A joyful work environment where employees and culture are paramount. We understand that we are all human and we want your success in your professional life to Elevate and Empower your personal life
  • A 100% remote environment. We've been remote for 10+ years and are set up for you to succeed remotely while working with flexibility during daytime professional hours
  • Strong compensation. This exempt position offers a base salary range of $45,000-$52,000 depending on experience plus a commission percentage on any sales you close
  • Competitive benefits. We provide all of your work equipment, health, vision and dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, family leave, annual in-person gatherings and many other leading benefits
  • Growth opportunities. We are a steadily growing company on a multi-decade journey of evolution. We relish promoting from within, and will support you in your efforts to grow with System Six

At System Six, we truly believe in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and we understand the importance of family and personal commitments. This is a 100% remote, work from home role.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
