About the Role
We’re looking for a Flow Engineer who thrives at the intersection of backend architecture, intelligent workflows, and user-centric data visualization. This role will be instrumental in shaping how data moves through our system and how users interact with complex healthcare operations through intuitive interfaces and reports.
You’ll collaborate with product, design, and data teams to build and optimize workflows, create dynamic reports, and surface insights to users in a clean, actionable way. What You’ll Do

Architect, build, and maintain flow-based features in our platform using Ruby on Rails and React

Design and implement data visualizations, interactive reports, and intelligent automations

Collaborate with designers and product managers to turn complex data into actionable insights for users

Work closely with AI and data teams to integrate machine learning-driven features into user-facing flows

Ensure reliability and performance of backend systems that support workflow logic and reporting

Contribute to team best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For

Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails for building scalable backend systems

Hands-on experience with React for front-end development and dynamic user interfaces

A thoughtful approach to workflow design — understanding how users engage with systems and how data should move through them

Experience creating data visualizations, reports, or dashboards for real-time and historical analysis

Familiarity with AI concepts or experience working alongside data science or ML teams is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical complexity into intuitive, user-focused solutions

A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills, especially in a remote-first environment

Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or enterprise SaaS platforms

Background in building internal tooling or workflow automation products

Familiarity with tools like D3.js, Chart.js, or other JS data viz libraries
