That's why we're looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help us build the future of social media. With your skills and expertise, you'll be an integral part of our team as we continue revolutionizing how people connect and engage on social media.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications for the Sendit platform.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces, utilizing modern frameworks and technologies such as Flutter and React.
  • Optimize mobile applications for performance, usability, and accessibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a consistent and smooth user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality code.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to the overall success of the Sendit engineering team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Software Engineer, preferably in the social media, messaging, or mobile app space.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more mobile app development frameworks such as Flutter, Swift, or React.
  • Experience with designing and implementing responsive and adaptive user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with real-time communication systems, messaging protocols, or AR/VR technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
