Our Key-Value Store & Messaging team is at the forefront, architecting the next generation of highly scalable systems. We’re on the lookout for a talented, passionate, and motivated Engineer to be part of this exciting evolution. Our infrastructure processes millions of requests per second and manages petabytes of data globally.

This role offers the chance to tackle complex challenges with creativity and deliver automated, scalable solutions in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. Your enthusiasm for new programming technologies and your collaborative spirit will be key as you work with internal partners to craft innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ideate, design, and develop scalable solutions for NoSQL and messaging platform systems

  • Write high-quality, performant code, along with unit tests, functional tests, and comprehensive documentation to implement new features

  • Debug and troubleshoot code when it's not doing what you expect

  • Review fellow teammates code to ensure quality and best practices

  • Participate in technical discussions, weekly scrum planning meetings, and daily stand-ups to foster team collaboration

  • Design and build containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment and orchestration

  • Deploy, monitor, and manage large-scale production systems distributed globally

  • Troubleshoot, report, and prioritize operational issues to maintain system reliability

  • Enhance and promote operational scalability to support growing demands

A Lot About You:

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of solid full-stack development experience using React, Node.js, Java, and API development.

  • Proven experience in software design and development, particularly with large-scale distributed systems that manage substantial data volumes

  • Experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP

  • Strong skills in systems programming, including development, testing, and debugging.

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, making you an effective team player.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to navigate and resolve issues effectively.

  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to driving projects to success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of NoSQL, distributed systems, and streaming.

  • Familiarity with performance characteristics and tradeoffs with large scale systems

  • Preferred familiarity with Containers, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms like AWS & GCP

The compensation for this position ranges from $111,000.00 - $231,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
