Key Responsibilities 🛠️
- Build Modern Web Interfaces: Develop fast, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using Next.js and TypeScript.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure applications load quickly and run smoothly, delivering an exceptional user experience.
- Integrate APIs: Connect with backend services using TanStack/React-Query for data fetching and caching.
- Form Handling: Build interactive and validated forms using React-Hook-Form, Zod, and Validator.
- State Management: Manage application state effectively with Zustand for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Payment Integration: Implement secure and seamless payment flows using Stripe.
- Localization: Use i18next to deliver multilingual interfaces that resonate with a global audience.
- Real-time Feedback: Provide instant notifications and feedback using Sonner for a polished user experience.
- Collaboration & Code Review: Work closely with other developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Develop and Maintain APIs: Build and manage robust RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express to support frontend services.
- Design Efficient Databases: Create and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and high performance.
- TypeScript Excellence: Write clean, scalable code with TypeScript, ensuring strong typing and minimizing runtime errors.
- Ensure High Performance: Optimize server-side logic for speed and scalability, handling large volumes of data and traffic.
- Security First: Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling using best practices (OAuth, JWT).
- Monitor and Debug: Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance backend performance, quickly resolving any issues that arise.
What You Bring to the Hive 🧠
- 5+ years of experience with Next.js and Express.js.
- Relevant experience with TypeScript, with a solid understanding of type systems and interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with libraries like Stripe, React-Query, Day.js, i18next, React-Hook-Form, Sonner, Validator, Zod, and Zustand
- A passion for creating user-friendly, responsive, and accessible interfaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug efficiently
- Experience working with Git and collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- PostgreSQL or MySQL for database management, query optimization, and data modeling
- Proven experience with Prisma ORM for database management
- Knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and working with JSON data
- Familiarity with security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and data encryption
- Experience with version control tools like Git and working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex server-side issues
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or other cloud-based infrastructure and containerization tools
- Bonus (not required): Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deploying Node.js applications
