Job summary
- We are looking for an outstanding senior engineer with the track record of building AI conversational experiences for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will be the point of contact on a number of critical customer facing projects, delivering custom AI solutions that leverage Connectly AI platform. The engineer will be working with PMs and Sales to be taking requirements, negotiating timelines, and working with the core AI platform built in our SF office. The position is remote, but proximity to our Sao Paulo office is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Prototyping, building and launching AI experiences for large retailers and enterprises.
- Partnering with PM, sales and clients to define and refine customer requirements.
- Partnering with engineering teams in San Francisco to leverage the latest capabilities of the AI platform as well as contributing to the platform where needed. Providing critical feedback to the platform team to provide support necessary to build great AI solutions.
- Establishing and implementing AI business metrics, analyzing data and iterating to progressively and relentlessly improve business performance.
- Planing your work, negotiating on dates, and offering creative solutions and practical tradeoffs to compromise between client deadlines and feature completeness.

- Hands-on experience with prompting, defining agent success metrics and staying current with the latest advancements in LLMs.
Requirements
- Being located in Brazil and speaking Portuguese is a must
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of technology industry experience in a hands-on engineering role.
- 2+ years of experience building and launching AI products.
- Experience working in high paced, customer focused environment.
- Experience building both backend and frontend solutions using Python and Typescript.
- Experience building agentic systems, understanding of the recent frameworks is a strong plus.
