Position Summary: The Project Manager will oversee and manage high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet organizational goals, are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in marketing and communications project management, demonstrate strong technology and organizational capabilities, and have a proven track record of managing complex, fast-paced projects.

Essential Tasks:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements; Coordinate and lead project activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met; Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders; Communicate project goals, progress, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and manage expectations
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies; Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to specifications; Implement and monitor quality control processes
  • Project Execution: Oversee day-to-day project activities, resolve issues, and ensure tasks are completed according to the project plan; Adapt plans and strategies as needed to address any changes or challenges
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes; Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and increase efficiency within the team

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Proficient in budget management

Systems:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Asana, Ziflow, and the ability to learn internal software programs quickly
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools, e.g. – Agile, Asana, Workfront, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
  • Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
  • Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
  • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
