Job Description

Front End Next.JS/ React Developer

Responsibilities:

As a Frontend Developer on this project, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying a robust and intuitive user interface. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of core features for the automated application screening and intelligent scoring system, focusing on the user-facing application.

  • Collaborating closely with the TA team, product managers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and a seamless user experience.

  • Developing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Next.js and React within an agile development environment.

  • Implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces.

  • Assisting with integrating the new system with existing platforms, including Greenhouse ATS.

  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the application.

  • Contributing to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, Next.js, and React.

  • Solid experience with React frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Create React App).

  • Proficiency in designing and developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.

  • Good understanding of consuming RESTful APIs.

  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) is highly desirable.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with backend technologies is beneficial but not required.

  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
