Description

Neurolabs is rewriting the playbook for in-store retail execution with Visual AI.
We’ve just raised $7.8M in Series A funding led by Nauta, with follow-on from existing investors LAUNCHub, Lunar Ventures, and Techstart. Our platform helps some of the world’s top CPG brands unlock real-time, SKU-level shelf visibility—without fragile audits or slow tools.

We’re a fast-moving, deeply technical team building the future of retail intelligence, one image at a time.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape and scale the way customers and field teams interact with our platform—across both web and iOS. You’ll take full ownership of frontend architecture and implementation, working closely with product, design, and engineering to deliver fast, elegant, and reliable user interfaces.

This is a high-impact role for someone eager to ship real products and see their work in the hands of tens of thousands of users in months, not years. You’ll influence everything from how our components are structured to how field users capture data in real stores.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of our frontend codebases across web and mobile (iOS)
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to translate ideas into production-ready features
  • Monitor, deploy, and maintain frontend performance across platforms, integrating into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade frontend applications
  • Deep experience with React and TypeScript, and a strong understanding of advanced typing and design patterns
  • Experience building native iOS apps in Swift
  • Hands-on experience integrating with GraphQL APIs
  • High attention to detail in UI/UX; able to turn Figma files into beautiful, responsive, and accessible components
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and ownership
  • Bonus: experience with deploying AI models on device, offline mobile workflows, or field data collection on mobile
Benefits
  • Hybrid working model: 3 in-office days near King’s Cross, London
  • Competitive salary + equity options
  • Private medical insurance (AXA Health)
  • 34 days of annual leave (including public holidays)
  • Pension scheme (5% employee / 3% employer contribution)
  • Annual company retreat abroad
  • A clear path to ownership and visibility within a fast-growing company

Please note: We are not accepting unsolicited CVs or candidate introductions from recruitment agencies. Any profiles submitted without prior agreement will be considered the property of Neurolabs, and no fees will be payable.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
