About the role
Join us as a Staff/Principal Frontend Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge applications. Mentor and inspire a top-tier frontend engineering team while staying deeply involved in hands-on coding, about 80% of your time. Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the implementation of new technologies to solve problems and improve existing systems, encourage standardization of best practices & methodologies
- Fine-tune the technical stack with a focus on performance, security, stability, and scalability
- Write client-side code to create super-fast, easy-to-use, web-based applications which include websites for both desktop and mobile browsers, and hybrid in-app pages
- Participate in design discussions and roadmap planning
- Review and support frontend technical designs across teams to maximize speed and scale
- Build libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications, speedup development efficiency, and improve code quality
- Coach, mentor, and grow team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in frontend development with 1+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Hands-on development experience with TypeScript, React and Javascript
- Experience with web services, microservices, APIs, and SOA
- Proven track record of delivering projects with high-quality UI
- Understanding of state-management patterns such as Redux, Flux, or similar
- Ability to provide technical expertise and complete peer code reviews to team members in a timely manner to ensure code standards, completeness, cleanliness, and quality
