As a Front End Engineer, you will build and maintain modern web applications, translating designs into code while collaborating with product teams on user experiences and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain modern, responsive web applications
- Translate designs and user flows into high-quality code
- Collaborate with product and UI/UX to deliver smooth user experiences
- Integrate with backend APIs and machine learning services
- Ensure high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Contribute to component libraries and design systems
- Help define front-end best practices and workflows as we scale
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a front-end engineer (or full-stack with strong front-end focus
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, and modern web development frameworks, and familiarity with GPU-accelerated tools (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN, Triton).Proficiency in React (or similar frameworks like Vue/Angular)
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks, animation libraries, or data visualization
- Knowledge of the major AI serving platforms such as HuggingFace Spaces and Gradio. Strong skills in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser development, and web performance
- Familiarity with API integration (RESTful and/or GraphQL)
- Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Contributions to open-source projectExperience with deep learning workflows, familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools; prior experience in an AI company working on front-end issues;
- Knowledge of biological data types and challenges and experience with bioinformatics tools.,
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and deployment pipelines
- Good knowledge of the FAIR data principles
