Job Description:

Front-End Developer (Prodege, LLC; El Segundo, California): Utilize core front-end technologies and frameworks such as React to develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components. Write robust, clean, and

reusable code adhering to best software development practices. Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation

and workflow, optimizing all elements for usability, usefulness, and visual design. Develop and maintain comprehensive testing protocols, including unit and integration tests, for the front-end of applications. Debug and troubleshoot layout and scripting issues across various browsers. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, implement performance testing routines, and address any identified bottlenecks. Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to integrate front-end and back-end components and improve overall usability. Take ownership of specific project components, manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and assist in the planning and specification phases of new projects. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, experiment with new tools, and continuously learn and adapt to new technologies. Participate in code reviews, provide technical advice, assist less experienced team members, and share knowledge to enhance code quality and team skills. Document application changes and developments, create technical documentation for reference and reporting, ensuring compliance with company development processes.

Salary: $124,842 to $157,500 per year

Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following: responsive design; cross-browser compatibility; JavaScript frameworks and libraries; JavaScript (ES5 and modern ES6+); (semantic) HTML and CSS; web accessibility standards and practices; Git and version control systems; and React and Next.js.
