JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is looking for a Freelance Studio Digital Producer during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Freelance Studio Digital Producer supports studio-based pregame, halftime, and postgame programming, helping shape live conversations and digital storytelling around one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Working closely with on-air talent, graphics operators, and technical teams, the Freelance Studio Digital Producer is responsible for delivering fast, accurate, and compelling studio content that translates seamlessly to digital and social audiences. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, deep soccer knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a live, high-pressure studio environment.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role built for someone who can manage multiple moving pieces in real time while producing high-quality content. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce live studio shows, including pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage

  • Build and manage rundowns, segment timing, and overall show flow for live studio programming

  • Collaborate with on-air talent to develop talking points, analysis, and key match storylines

  • Work closely with graphics operators to identify, build, and execute real-time studio graphics

  • Monitor live matches, breaking news, and storylines to inform studio discussions

  • Coordinate with digital and social teams to ensure studio content aligns with broader FOX Sports Digital coverage

  • Ensure all editorial content is accurate, clear, and aligned with FOX Sports editorial standards

  • Maintain strong communication with technical operations and production teams during live shows
     

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years of experience producing live studio, digital, or sports programming (freelance or contract experience acceptable)

  • Experience working in fast-paced, live studio environments

  • Strong editorial judgment with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of soccer, including leagues, players, teams, competitions, and match flow

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfort making real-time editorial and production decisions under tight deadlines

  • Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles 

  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and variable hours based on show and match schedules

  • Calm under pressure, collaborative, and adaptable

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $35.58-45.00 per hour.
