OVERVIEW

The FP&A Intern supports the finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. The role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis in a corporate environment.

The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 9th and ends August 1st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Help create and maintain budget models and assist in forecasting revenue and expenses.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and present financial data from various business channels. Provide insights on trends and variances to help with decision-making.
  • Variance Analysis: Assist in explaining variances between actual and budgeted financial performance. Provide actionable insights to management.
  • Process Improvement: Help identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management or other departments.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams: Work with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and business development, to gather necessary financial data.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and concisely.

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
