The FP&A Specialist develops budgeting and planning models, supports management reporting, and provides ongoing client support to ensure successful integration and maximize client satisfaction.
The FP&A Specialist has a primary focus on helping develop budgeting and planning models as well as strategic reporting. From scoping to integration to launch, this role will be the key point of contact for our clients. - Work with our business partners to support management reporting and financial reporting
- Work with business partners to develop dashboards
- Identify the client's needs and determine which modules would best serve their needs
- Review current standards and revise to ensure best practices
- Provide ongoing support after integration (training, prototype sessions)
- Develop and facilitate customized learning to meet the client's needs prior to launch
- Collaborate with the client to build models based on their needs
- Manage project scope, tasks, deadlines, budgets and work with project team through implementation
- Analyze client's current data and provide recommendations on how to integrate into FP&A Solutions
- Maintain confidentiality with external client information as well as internal employee and firm information

- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
- Background in accounting and/or financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting/consolidation preferred
- Minimum two years' experience implementing and/or administering an FP&A solution (Workday Adaptive Planning, Prophix, Solver, Martus, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and SQL (or equivalent databases)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external customers as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required
