Zayo is seeking an FP&A Senior Manager with diverse analytical skills and interests to play a pivotal role in actively providing value to Zayo Networks. Our FP&A Senior Manager reports directly to the Head of FP&A. 

 

*Candidates local to the Denver, CO metro area, preferred. Hybrid capacity out of our Denver headquarters at 1401 Wynkoop; however, we're open to considering remote candidates based in the United States.

Responsibilities: 

  •  Prepare and maintain in-depth analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting of financial and business performance 

  • Prepares and presents of monthly/quarterly/annual headcount forecasting and reporting records of financial and business performance to identify and provide support to support company-wide financial and operational goals, initiatives and objectives 

  • Takes full ownership of the month-end and quarter-end close and reporting responsibilities 

  • Create and deliver impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders that clearly convey financial and operational business results and analysis 

  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in interpreting complex contractual agreements and translating them into actionable financial forecasts and metrics 

  • Facilitate training sessions for cross-functional teams on financial concepts and organizational strategies, fostering a culture of financial literacy 

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within our systems, continuously monitoring for discrepancies and implementing corrective actions 

  • Have an in-depth understanding to assess and enhance the strength of existing financial systems and automation processes, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and leading IT projects from conception to execution 

  • Manages the finance staff and sets priorities to meet team’s expectations and fosters a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and skill enhancement

  • Can teach and train financial and accounting principles to non-finance and non-accounting staff 

  • Oversee capital expenditure analysis, providing detailed insights and budget performance evaluations to executive leadership 

  • Engage effectively with executives and cross-functional leaders, providing clear and concise financial insights that inform decision-making 

  • Support project analysis, validate financial plans, and respond to ad-hoc financial inquiries with precision and clarity. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 8 (eight) years of progressive experience in FP&A and/or accounting, with a proven track record in leadership roles 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop finance professionals, fostering a high-performance team environment 

  • Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical abilities, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and data interpretation 

  • Experience managing Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and SG&A budgets and forecasts

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an in-depth understanding of financial modeling techniques and GAAP principles 

  • Experience with Tableau preferred

  • Knowledge of accounting (GAAP) principles and financial statement modeling

  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and accountability, with a proactive approach to challenges and a strong work ethic 

  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts that persuade non-financial stakeholders

  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines and achieve results in a fast-paced environment 

  • A high-energy individual with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to multitask effectively 

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality    
     

Estimated Base Pay Range: $106,500 - $155,000 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
