The FP&A team at Blockstream plays an integral part in scaling the world's leading Bitcoin infrastructure company. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team with a key role in driving financial strategy across our Consumer Products, and, Enterprise Solutions divisions.

As an FP&A Manager at Blockstream, you will partner with business leaders across the company to drive strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis. Through your efforts, we'll ensure leadership stays on top of our financial performance as we scale toward Series C and public markets. If you are naturally curious, love data, versed in financial modeling, and an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with technical and business teams alike, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

  • Lead financial forecasting, planning, and reporting across all business units with CPG, Enterprise SaaS, and Bitcoin-native metrics
  • Own budgeting process and rolling forecasts incorporating on-chain data and traditional financials
  • Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, rolling cashflow, fundraising, and strategic M&A initiatives
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Development to analyze ROI on infrastructure investments
  • Drive monthly business reviews with executive team, translating blockchain metrics into actionable insights
  • Support board materials and investor reporting with compelling narratives around unit economics and KPIs
  • Implement process improvements and automation to scale FP&A function for high-growth environment
  • Develop pricing strategies for crypto services, consumer products, tokenization, and multi-signature custody solutions

What We Look For in You (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer/Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4-7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance
  • Experience with NetSuite and FP&A (BI tools, Looker, Tableau, etc.) tools
  • Python, SQL or R skills for automating data integration and analysis across the fintech stack
  • Strong expertise in SaaS metrics, unit economics, and hardware product lifecycle
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling; adept at handling large datasets
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience prompting GPTs & LLMs to work with automation applications (n8n, zapier), and AI agent creation (chatgpt, claude, gemini, grok)
  • MBA or CFA certification
  • Understanding of Bitcoin fundamentals and cryptocurrency markets
  • Experience with multi-product technology companies or financial services
  • Prior experience at Bitcoin/crypto companies or high-growth fintech
  • Experience with hardware/software/crypto hybrid business models
  • Background in Series C+ or pre-IPO companies

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 USD, depending on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, full-time Blockstream employees receive: Target equity grants and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in the office.
