Job Summary:

We’re looking for a strategic and analytical FP&A Manager to join our growing Finance team at Ruggable. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive key financial decisions by building robust models, shaping pricing strategies, and delivering insights that support sustainable, profitable growth.

You’ll partner with senior leaders to develop global pricing strategies, support product launches, and manage critical planning processes—including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. This is a unique opportunity to help scale a fast-paced, omni-channel consumer brand with a global footprint.

If you thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration—and bring deep FP&A experience in consumer products—we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine unit economics models for key global regions
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Product team, supporting product launches, performance analysis, and cost optimization efforts
  • Support and influence the development of global pricing strategies, incorporating competitive benchmarks, cost structures, and financial targets
  • Build and maintain dynamic pricing models to assess profitability and effectiveness of pricing initiatives
  • Develop functional expertise. Own and drive annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and monthly reporting processes
  • Manage and monitor operating expenses, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and budget
  • Track and explain variances vs. budget/forecast and provide actionable insights to business partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial planning with business objectives
  • Ad hoc analyses / projects as needed

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 5–8+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in a consumer products or omni-channel brand environment
  • Deep expertise in pricing strategy with a track record of collaboration with product or merchandising teams
  • Proven ability to develop and apply unit economics models across international markets
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting

Preferred:

  • Experience in a high-growth, global company with in-house manufacturing or supply chain operations

Compensation:

  • $135,000-$145,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching for company sponsored 401K plan

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
