About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive FP&A Content and Solutions Specialist to support the creation, customization, and maintenance of our FP&A template library. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our Solutions Consulting (SC) team, Customer Success, and product teams. The focus will be on ensuring templates developed for deep dive sessions can seamlessly transition into client onboarding and project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn our platform, Datarails, and develop expertise in customizing templates using Datarails formulas and integrations. If you enjoy building financial reports and models in Excel and want to apply those skills in a purely technical build role, you will find this position especially rewarding. You will work closely with both Customer Success and Solutions Consulting teams, gaining exposure to pre-sales, implementation, and post-go-live workflows.
What You'll Do
Template Library Support
- Assist in curating, version-controlling, and maintaining the standardized FP&A template library.
- Learn and become proficient in Datarails to customize templates with platform-specific formulas and integrations.
- Archive or deprecate underutilized templates based on usage analytics and team feedback.
Collaboration & Intake
- Support SC team in preparing templates for deep dive calls with prospects.
- Ensure template continuity from pre-sales to implementation to enable a smoother client handoff.
- Assist in scoping and delivering custom template requests from SC and CS teams.
Enablement & Communication
- Help host bi-monthly “template office hours” to demo new templates, share tips, and gather feedback from internal teams.
- Maintain clear documentation for templates, including purpose, customization instructions, and dependencies.
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Product on roadmap changes that could impact template structure or functionality.
Monitor template usage data to help identify adoption trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business systems, or data/reporting analyst roles.
- Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting concepts.
- Strong willingness to learn Datarails and apply platform-specific formulas and integrations.
- Passion for building financial reports and models in Excel.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests at once.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI or FP&A tools is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SaaS environments, particularly in Solutions Consulting or Implementation teams.
- Familiarity with building or maintaining content libraries or templates.
- Understanding of change management and adoption best practices.
Success in This Role Will Look Like
- Timely delivery of high-quality, Datarails-ready templates that meet SC and Implementation needs.
- Increased adoption and satisfaction with the template library across internal teams.
- Faster client onboarding through improved template standardization and handoff processes.
