Why Dealops?

AI’s transforming how companies price, sell and scale. The shift towards outcome-based, usage-based, and hybrid pricing models has unlocked a $25B+ market, demanding smarter solutions across pricing, deal execution, and sales compensation. Led by ex-Stripe operators and backed by Pear VC, General Catalyst, and execs from OpenAI, Stripe and Slack with $7M in funding, Dealops is a pioneering AI‑driven platform that enables flexible pricing, streamline workflows and boost sales performance.

The opportunity

As a Founding Sales Development Representative, you’ll be one of our first GTM hires and play a critical role in building Dealops’ pipeline engine from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our CEO and Founding AEs to define how we identify, engage, and qualify the most innovative AI and high-growth SaaS companies.

This is not a “run-the-sequence” SDR role. You’ll help build our outbound motion, test strategies, and set the foundation for how Dealops sources and qualifies pipeline as we scale.

This is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office.

If you want high ownership, a steep growth trajectory, and are motivated to build the outbound and qualification playbook that future SDRs will follow, this is a chance to make a real impact from day one.

  • Early GTM ownership – help define outbound strategy, messaging, and qualification

  • Pipeline impact – source and qualify high-quality opportunities with the fastest growing AI companies

  • Customer exposure – engage directly with Finance, GTM, and RevOps leaders

  • Career acceleration – learn full-cycle sales in a fast-moving, founder-led environment

What you’ll own
  • Source and qualify pipeline: Identify, research, and engage target accounts through thoughtful outbound across email, LinkedIn, calls, and creative experiments.

  • Develop outbound motion: Test messaging, channels, and sequencing strategies to determine what resonates with modern AI and SaaS buyers.

  • Refine ICP and qualification: Help sharpen who we sell to, what signals matter, and how we prioritize accounts.

  • Collaborate closely: Partner with the Founding AEs, CEO, and Product team to share insights from the field and influence positioning, roadmap, and GTM strategy.

What makes you a fit
  • 1–3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound role at a B2B SaaS or AI company

  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable leading first conversations with senior stakeholders

  • Curious, driven, and persistent; you enjoy prospecting and problem-solving

  • Excited by ambiguity and pace; you want to build, test, and iterate rather than follow a rigid script

  • Bonus: Experience selling GTM, pricing, or RevOps tools or working directly with RevOps/GTM Systems/Finance stakeholders

What we offer
  • Competitive salary + early stage equity

  • Medical, dental, vision

  • Unlimited PTO (really)

  • Daily team lunch & snacks

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
