Top-of-funnel SDR focused solely on outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, cold calling), running discovery calls and tailored product demos, qualifying leads, and delivering clean handoffs to CSMs. No post-sale or account management responsibilities.

About the Role:

We're hiring an SDR whose job is singular and clear: generate pipeline.

This is a pure top of funnel role, in which you will not manage accounts, run renewals, or own post sale relationships. Your entire focus is outbound prospecting, discovery calls, product demos, and a clean handoff to the next stage of the sales process.

If you want a role where the scope is tight, the metrics are obvious, and you're not pulled into account management or customer success work, this is built for you.

What you’ll own:

Outbound prospecting: Build and execute outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) to generate qualified pipeline.

Discovery calls: Run initial conversations to qualify prospects, understand their pain points, and confirm ICP fit.

Product demos: Deliver compelling demos of Arbi that translate prospect pain, into product value. This demo should not follow a single, fixed talk track. Actively listening to understand each client's specific needs, and shaping the demo around their pain points, is essential at this stage of the process.

Clean handoff: Ensure a smooth transfer from the client, over to a dedicated CSM with clear notes and context

This role does NOT include:

Post sale account management

Customer success, renewals, or upsell ownership

No long term relationship or portfolio management

Support ticket or implementation work

This role ends at handoff. Every deal you generate moves to someone else once it's qualified and demoed.

Who we’re looking for:

2-4+ years in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role (SaaS experience strongly preferred)

Track record of consistently hitting outbound activity and pipeline generation targets.

Comfortable running discovery conversations and demos, not just booking meetings.

Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold a prospect's attention and get to the point.

Self starter who thrives on high volume, high tempo outbound work.

Familiarity with the recruiting/HR tech space is a plus, not a requirement.

What Success Looks Like:

Consistent volume of qualified, sales ready opportunities handed off per month.

High show rate and conversion from discovery call to demo.

Clean, well documented handoffs that set the next owner up to close.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
