Currently, the leave management process is painful and inefficient for everyone. Company leaders struggle to keep up with regulations and processes that change frequently, and the employees going on leave are overwhelmed by bureaucracy at an exceptionally important juncture in their career. Sparrow transforms this ordinarily tedious, error-prone, complex to remain compliant, and time-consuming process into a 30-minute end-to-end experience saving teams time (20 - 40 hours per leave) and money (up to $30K per leave).

In the Founding Product Marketer role at Sparrow, you’ll have the opportunity to solidify our vision, build processes, and a playbook to ensure that we’re positioned to win by enabling our GTM teams. We’re looking for a leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, staying up to date on market trends and competitors. and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to increase productivity.
Here's what you'll do- Partner with Sales Leadership, Product, Account Management, and Marketing on the design and execution of an overall sales GTM and build a world-class revenue enablement function.
- Own and evolve Sparrow’s messaging, value proposition, and product differentiation, and ensure that product offerings are effectively communicated to HR professionals and decision makers.
- Create high impact content, including sales decks, competitive battle cards, product collateral, sales enablement materials, thought leadership pieces, case studies, and executive presentations to equip Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams for success.
- Drive launch strategy for new products and features, ensuring strong alignment among Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Measure the productivity of our Sales and GTM teams while creating engaging business reviews with performance standards, training sessions, sales skill certifications, sales onboarding experience and new hire bootcamp.
- Leverage the best sales tech stack that includes Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, Chili Piper, and more to automate the sales process through an effective sales methodology, including the latest AI sales productivity tools.
- Be the voice of the sales organization through weekly sales communications, rewards and recognition programs, and team-building events.
- A top performer. 7+ years of sales, product marketing, and/or sales enablement experience, particularly in SaaS markets selling B2B with a track record of consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. A deep understanding of selling to HR professionals and enabling the needs of a successful sales organization.
- A builder’s mindset. For this role, we prefer 3+ years leadership experience, but in the near-term, this person will be building the infrastructure for the team as an IC.
- Learner’s mindset. Highly self-directed, adaptable, and up for feedback and implementation in a fast-paced, always changing environment that has high-performance expectations while working collaboratively. You have a desire to build a world-class sales training playbook and program while seeing success in others.
- Product-obsessed. Leave management is complicated, meaning that often, our customers have gaps in their understanding. Therefore, it is essential that you can build effective written and visual teaching materials that simplify complex problems.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Clear, empathetic communicator that can build rapport and relate to sales professionals. You are great at communicating through email, chat, and phone while displaying active listening skills to ensure things are done well, both personally and as a team.
This is a full-time salaried position with compensation of $124,600 – $220,000 depending on experience and location.
