About Tensorlake:

Tensorlake is building a distributed data processing platform for developers building Generative AI applications. Our product, Indexify(https://getindexify.ai), enables building continuously evolving knowledge bases and indexes for Large Language Model applications by allowing structured data or embedding extraction algorithms on any unstructured data.

Tensorlake is based in San Francisco, CA. Employees based out of the Bay Area can choose to come to office any number of days but we try to be in office twice a week. Some of our team are remote as well.

About the role:

The Product team is responsible for building the developer platform that is core to our server-less platform. It includes working on building the control plane to create API keys, visualizing workflows, and computed data, understanding resource usage in workloads, long term analytics, etc.

A snapshot of projects you can work on:

  • Creating UIs for monitoring the activity of workflows or their resource usage

  • A jobs platform to reliably schedule workflows using AI models and view the results of those jobs in the UI

  • Building tools to administer and manage the users and clusters within your organization

  • Building security and access controls over data and analytics reports.

As part of your role you will:

  • Develop delightful UIs or high quality backend business logic that empower software developers and simplify programming

  • Work with a team of leading distributed systems and machine learning experts

  • Communicate your work to a broader audience through talks, tutorials, and blog posts

  • Help us to build and shape a world class company

What we're looking for: 

  • At least 7 years of front-end or full-stack development

  • Familiarity with technologies such as Python, React, Typescript, FastAPI, or SQLAlchemy

  • Motivated people who are excited to build tools to power the next generation of cloud applications!

  • Passionate about working adjacent to users and the product

Compensation

  • At Tensorlake, we take a market-based approach to compensation. We are data-driven, transparent, and consistent. The target salary for this role is $150000 ~ $210,000. As the market data changes over time, the target salary for this role may be adjusted.
