About Us

At Zettabyte we’re building the first full-stack GPU datacenter provider—think of it as the modern operating system for AI super-computers. Our direct partnerships with leading OEMs and silicon vendors let us push the envelope on price-performance, availability, and raw scale.

Why This Role Exists

Hardware alone doesn’t change the world—people adopting it does. As a Founding GTM hire, you’ll be our first boots-on-the-ground revenue maker: sourcing prospects, closing lighthouse customers, and feeding product insights straight into engineering. If you want to sell cutting-edge GPU cloud the day it launches—and learn every inch of the market while you’re at it—this is your seat.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect & qualify – own top-of-funnel outreach (email, social, events) for AI labs, startups, and Fortune 500 ML teams.

  • Run the deal cycle – book demos, build value cases, navigate purchasing, and hit quota without armies of rev-ops helpers.

  • Tell the story – translate PCIe topologies into “here’s why your training run finishes 30 % faster.” Slides, one-pagers, or white-boards—whatever lands.

  • Feed the loop – log every objection, feature ask, and pricing wrinkle so product and eng can move faster.

  • Represent Zettabyte – conferences, Discords, Twitter, hacker houses—anywhere GPU shortages are discussed.

You’ll jump from writing a cold email to debugging a customer’s NCCL error with an engineer—then tweet the win.

You’ll Thrive Here If You…
  • Chase outcomes – pipeline, won-deals, and NRR make you tick.

  • Speak two dialects – technical enough for an infra architect, clear enough for a CFO.

  • Love green-field – no legacy playbook; you’ll build v1 side-by-side with the founders.

  • Default to action – short cycles, tight feedback, written updates over Zoom marathons.

Bonus Points
  • Closed six- or seven-figure deals for cloud, HPC, or ML platform vendors.

  • Experience with usage-based pricing or consumption-metered products.

  • Network inside AI labs, LLM startups, or enterprise data-science teams.

  • Ex-engineer or tinkerer—comfortable SSH’ing into a node to grab logs.

How We Work
  • Tiny, senior, and execution-obsessed—decisions happen in hours, not weeks.

  • Written communication > meetings—deal recaps and GTM docs are our currency.

  • Weekly demo-days and ops reviews keep everyone close to the metal (and the customer).

Compensation

Founding-level equity plus top-of-market cash.

Benefits
  • 100 % health, dental, vision (US)

  • Brand-new workstation or laptop + monthly cloud credits for personal experiments

  • Unlimited PTO

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
