Sitch is a new kind of matchmaking platform, built around the idea that online dating doesn't have to suck and that AI, used thoughtfully, can actually make it better. We launched in NYC in 2024 and are backed by M13, a16z's Speedrun, Jeremy Liew (who wrote Snapchat's first check) and many others. We're expanding to new cities and building a small, high-performance team to help us scale to take on Match Group as the number one way to find your person
Job OverviewAs a Founding Designer, you'll craft thoughtful, delightful experiences that make AI matchmaking feel human. Based in our New York office, you'll work directly with our founding team (Dini - GSB '22, 2x founder, McKinsey and Chad - SVP Uniswap, Sr Director Snap) to shape both our product experience and brand identity during this critical growth phase. This role combines strong UX thinking with beautiful, memorable visual design to create intuitive, engaging experiences for our users.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design process from research to polished UI for new features and improvements
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and improvements
Conduct user interviews and research to deeply understand our users' dating journeys, pain points, and desires
Create intuitive, engaging user flows that make matchmaking feel personal and magical
Help evolve and refine our brand identity across all touchpoints - app, digital spaces and out of home ads and experiences
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented with high fidelity
Design and maintain a cohesive design system that scales across our product suite
Contribute to product strategy discussions with data-informed design insights
3+ years of experience in product design (consumer apps preferred)
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and beautiful, memorable visual design
Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding of mobile design principles and patterns
Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate design decisions
Experience collaborating with engineers to implement designs
