About Endra

At Endra, we're building AI that transforms how engineering teams design buildings. Our mission is to give engineers superpowers—helping them automate tedious work, move faster, and build better.

Backed by a16z ($75M total funding) alongside other top investors.

We're looking for our first dedicated Content & Events Marketing Lead to help define how Endra shows up in the world. This is a true 0→1 role. You'll work directly with our founders to build our brand, create a repeatable content engine, and design an events strategy that generates pipeline.

If you're excited about building a category from scratch, thrive in ambiguity, and love turning great products into movements, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

Marketing at Endra isn't about generating impressions—it's about generating customers.

Your mission is simple: make Endra impossible to ignore.

You'll own two of our highest-leverage growth channels:

  • Building a world-class founder-led content engine.

  • Creating an events program that consistently generates pipeline through conferences, executive dinners, customer communities, and industry relationships.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role with enormous ownership. You'll work directly with the founders, experiment constantly, and build the systems that future marketing hires inherit.

What You'll DoBuild Endra's Events Engine
  • Map the most important conferences, trade shows, meetups, and communities across the US.

  • Decide where Endra should (and shouldn't) invest.

  • Build a scalable field marketing program from scratch.

  • Own every aspect of execution—from strategy and budgeting to logistics and follow-up.

  • Launch creative formats beyond conferences, including customer dinners, executive roundtables, community events, workshops, and partner activations.

  • Measure success by pipeline generated—not just attendance.

Own Founder-Led Content
  • Become the voice behind Endra's founder across LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels.

  • Turn customer conversations, product launches, engineering insights, and market observations into compelling content.

  • Build a repeatable content machine that consistently drives awareness and inbound demand.

  • Collaborate closely with the founders to capture authentic ideas while maintaining a distinctive voice.

  • Experiment relentlessly with new formats, channels, and distribution strategies.

Build Demand
  • Obsess over top-of-funnel growth and pipeline creation.

  • Find unconventional ways to get Endra in front of the right buyers.

  • Work closely with sales to understand customer pain points and create content that accelerates deals.

  • Analyze performance, double down on what works, and kill what doesn't.

Build the Function
  • Create the systems, editorial calendar, playbooks, and processes that scale.

  • Manage freelancers, agencies, photographers, videographers, or contractors when needed.

  • Help define Endra's brand and how we tell our story.

What We're Looking For
  • 4-12 years of experience in content or events marketing at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup.

  • You've built content programs that generated measurable business outcomes—not just engagement.

  • You've planned and executed successful B2B events that created real pipeline.

  • Exceptional writer with strong storytelling instincts.

  • Comfortable working directly with founders and helping shape their public voice.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Data-driven, but highly creative.

  • High agency. You don't wait for permission.

  • You move quickly and enjoy figuring things out with incomplete information.

Bonus Points
  • Experience marketing to enterprise technical buyers.

  • Experience building founder brands.

  • Experience with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, or other technical communities.

  • Video production or design skills.

  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate content creation.

How We Work

We're looking for builders.

People who see ambiguity as an opportunity rather than a problem.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Move fast and ship often.

  • Care deeply about quality.

  • Take ownership instead of waiting for direction.

  • Constantly experiment and learn.

  • Think in terms of pipeline, not vanity metrics.

  • Want to build something from zero.

Success in Your First 6 Months

By six months, you'll have:

  • Built Endra's US events strategy with a repeatable calendar of high-impact conferences and field events.

  • Established a consistent founder content engine across LinkedIn and X.

  • Created measurable inbound pipeline through content and events.

  • Built the operating system for marketing that future team members can scale.

  • Helped establish Endra as one of the most recognizable voices in AI for engineering.

Why Join?

This is a rare opportunity to build a marketing function from the ground up alongside the founders.

You'll have meaningful ownership, significant autonomy, and the chance to shape how an entire category comes to understand Endra.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
