About Hanover Park

Hanover Park builds AI systems that run the financial operations of the world’s most sophisticated investment firms. As an AI-enabled service and fund administrator, we’ve become the way fund CFOs adopt AI. We've raised $31 million from Emergence (investor in Salesforce/Zoom), Susa (investor in Robinhood/Flexport) and angel investor fund CFOs from Bain Capital ($180B), Clearlake ($100B), CD&R ($80B), and Hellman & Friedman ($80B).

Our mission is to be the financial infrastructure to orchestrate how the world’s capital is operated, governed and allocated. Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments. In the next decade, the AI systems we build will advise $100B investment firms on their largest acquisitions and eventually unlock alpha for investors.

About the role

We're building the Navy SEALs of go-to-market: a small, elite team where every operator carries the full weight of the mission. No SDR layer to lean on. No marketing engine to blame. No sales ops layering process between you and the customer.

To date, our CEO Chris has scaled sales singlehandedly - from zero to $15B, with top-10 banks and major endowments on the platform. Our pipeline is the problem most companies dream about: inbound demand is overwhelming and we can't keep up. Real money is sitting on the table because we don't have enough trusted operators to run it down.

That's where you come in. As a Founding Account Executive, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Chris - sitting in on his calls, taking over his accounts, and building the sales motion that the next ten AEs will run on. You're the second sales hire, with the same standard of ownership.

What you'll work on
  • Closing inbound demand from VC, PE, and private credit GPs - funds ranging from emerging managers to multi-billion-dollar platforms

  • Building a repeatable outbound motion that includes developing relationships with the most important CFOs in VC, private equity and private credit

  • Running the full cycle: discovery, demo, technical deep-dives with CFOs, pricing, contract, signature, handoff to onboarding

  • Sitting next to Chris on his live deals, then taking them over - and building the playbook as you go so the next AE can ramp in weeks, not quarters

  • Owning a quota that matters. We're not assigning territories yet because we don't need to - the demand is there. Your number is real revenue against real pipeline

  • Partnering directly with product and engineering. When a prospect needs something to close, you figure out whether it ships this week or never

No SDRs. No deal desk. No solutions engineer. You demo it, you scope it, you close it, you own it.

What we're looking for:

  • Real fluency with how investment firms operate — funds, GPs, LPs, capital calls, distributions, NAV - you were likely an investment banker or private equity associate

  • 2+ years closing complex B2B deals, ideally to financial services buyers - fund admin, fintech, accounting software, ERP, or vertical SaaS into asset managers

  • A track record of being the top performer on a small team, not the median performer on a big one

  • High ownership. You don't wait for a deal review to figure out what to do next

  • Comfort selling alongside a founder and getting out-prepared by the customer's CFO if you're not sharp

Nice to have:

  • Sold into private markets (fund admins, portfolio monitoring, LP reporting, GP tech)

  • Founding or first-five GTM experience at a Seed-to-Series B startup

  • Existing relationships with VC, PE, or private credit GPs and their CFOs/COOs

This isn't the right fit if:

  • You need an SDR to book your meetings

  • You need a sales engineer on every demo

  • You want a 12-month ramp before you carry a number

  • You're used to a deal desk approving every discount

Why join now

We're disrupting a $100 trillion asset class that's never had infrastructure built for it. We're building it. The pipeline is full, the product wins demos, and the next AE we hire gets to write the playbook every future rep at Hanover Park will run on. The learning curve is steep, the velocity expectations are high, and the comp follows the outcomes.

If that sounds like your kind of problem, let's talk.

Equal Opportunity Employment

Hanover Park is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
