Melbourne (Hybrid)
About NashNash is building the digital logistics infrastructure that powers delivery for some of the world’s largest retailers, tech platforms, and delivery services. Our platform connects merchants, carriers, and customers through unified AI-driven logistics, helping enterprises like Walmart, Woolworths, 7-Eleven, and Coles orchestrate millions of deliveries every month.
We’re now expanding our engineering presence in Australia and looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who can ship code, solve real customer problems, and help shape how Nash scales across APAC.
The RoleThis is hands-on engineering at the edge — not pre-sales, not implementation. You’ll build, deploy, and operate production software directly with customers while working closely with our global product and AI teams.
You’ll be part of the foundational team defining how our Australia engineering office operates. Expect to move fast, own outcomes, and see your work drive real-world impact within weeks, not quarters.
What You’ll Do• Build and deploy production systems used by top enterprise retailers
• Work directly with customers’ engineering, ops, and leadership teams
• Take new products from concept to live deployments
• Design and extend core infrastructure underpinning global delivery orchestration
• Partner with product and AI teams to influence direction across APAC
• Debug real-world logistics workflows across fleets, APIs, and integrations
Who You Are• 4 plus years building and shipping production software
• Strong experience with APIs, backend systems, or platform integrations
• Comfortable jumping between code, customer problems, and architecture decisions
• Bias toward speed, iteration, and ownership
• Clear communicator who can work directly with operators, CTOs, and execs
• Motivated by building software that touches the physical world at scale
Why This RoleIf you’ve wanted to join a high-velocity YC-backed startup redefining how logistics works worldwide — while getting to build and see your code operate inside real enterprise workflows — this is the one.
Your work will touch millions of deliveries each month and help define Nash’s engineering footprint across APAC.
More about Nash.AINash is building the logistics infrastructure for the internetLast mile is a $500B industry powering digital commerce but managed largely with self managed API integrations. Nash approaches last mile orchestration with information completeness solutions from checkout, courier management, customer engagement, and post-purchase experience. Doing this enables merchants and customers to capture immense efficiencies, drive better customer experience, reliability and business outcomes.
We are working towards a mission of processing a double digit percentage of every physical last-mile transaction. We achieve this by providing top of the market modules for each step of the customer journey and leveraging the network effects from having more information that allows traditional competitors to collaborate. It’s a big mission, but we are already seeing strong market pull as we are already serving some of the largest retailers in the world like Walmart, 7-Eleven and Woolworths.
Nash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and has raised funding from top investors, including Y-Combinator and a16z, to build the world’s best logistics infrastructure platform. We are based in SF.
