Forward Deployed Engineer

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Full-Stack .NET/C# Engineer (FDE). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software engineering experience with recent, hands-on expertise in full-stack development using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure.

This is a full-time opportunity for a senior engineer who can work independently, contribute immediately, and operate effectively in a fast-paced client environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Build and enhance cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Work across both frontend and backend components of enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and modernize existing applications.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Follow secure, scalable, and maintainable software development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Recent, hands-on experience with:C#.NET / .NET CoreASP.NET / ASP.NET CoreMicrosoft Azure
  • Strong full-stack development experience.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade applications and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • U.S. work authorization required.
  • Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours.
  • Must be available for an immediate interview and start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working with large enterprise or consulting organizations.
