Summary of Role:
Senior Associates are given a wide variety of diversified assignments under the supervision of our Forensic Services practice leaders. Our projects primarily focus on providing litigation support and performing forensic investigations. Your performance will be judged based on the quality of your work, your application of accounting and business knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints.
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing documents in accordance with project strategy
- Creating analyses and spreadsheets involving forensic accounting, economic damages, fraud and misconduct investigations
- Data processing and analysis in accordance with project strategy
- Creating schedules that can be reconciled to source documents
- You will be responsible for self-reviewing your own work
- You will respond to inquiries from your project supervisor
- You will perform such other duties as may be assigned
- Your work will involve highly confidential client matters; so you will be required to keep matters confidential
- Supervising and reviewing the work of other team members

- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform analyses independently
- Ability to perform self-reviews on analyses to eliminate clerical and data entry errors
- You must have self-confidence
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us:
- Preferred – at least 3 years year of public accounting or internal accounting/finance operational experience. Forensic accounting experience is not a requirement, we can teach you as long as you have a strong interest in Forensics
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
- Required –Certified Public Accountant certification

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example. At GHJ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $81,500-$100,000.
