We are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Account Manager to grow our presence in the Honolulu market. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in fluid power, industrial distribution, or engineered solutions who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and developing new business opportunities.
In this role, you will own and grow a territory by developing strong relationships with key decision makers, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored fluid power solutions that drive value for our customers.
Essential Functions
- Develop and grow long-term relationships with engineers, purchasing leaders, maintenance teams, and operations decision makers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory
- Conduct regular customer visits, prospecting activities, and technical sales discussions
- Provide consultative solutions that leverage WIT’s hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineered system capabilities
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership to deliver the right solutions
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and manage customer relationships through our CRM platform
- Partner with manufacturer representatives and leadership on key sales calls and strategic opportunities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales and margin growth
Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, OR equivalent industry experience
- Fluid Power certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, or connectors
- Strong background in solution-based or consultative selling
- Experience developing sales proposals, presentations, and account plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical controls, or PLCs is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a customer-facing sales environment
