In this Product Specialist sales role, you will sell Agilent Technologies’ Flow Cytometers into commercial, government and academic institutions in the territory. We encourage independent thinking and collaboration across the team with Account Managers and Field Application Scientists as you work towards your quota and are compensated for sales in your geography. You will be expected to create and develop opportunities, strategies and tactics to increase our presence in our customers’ labs. Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy unique ways to reach customers

  • Develop customer relationships

  • Prospect for new opportunities

  • Follow-up leads promptly

  • Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle that will vary from days to years

  • Successfully negotiate complex sales transactions

  • Create and deliver seminars that educate, increase awareness and interest, ultimately leading to new Agilent customers

  • Handle complex demands and relationships to enhance customer satisfaction while exceeding Agilent sales goals

  • Provide market and product feedback to R&D

  • Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business

  • Serve on the sales team, lifting everyone to higher achievement

Qualifications
  • PhD preferred. Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.

  • 4+ years experience with Flow Cytometry application sales.

  • Strategic Selling Competence

  • Willingness to embrace new ways of connecting with customers

  • Four or more years of experience in industry, academia, government or sales

  • Understands pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows

  • Very strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Cellular Biology and Flow Cytometry, its applications and workflows

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills


Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least July 7, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $147,675.00 - $295,350.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
