Job Summary

The FinOps Team at AllCloud plays a critical role in helping our AWS Reseller customers manage, understand, and optimize their cloud spend. As a FinOps Analyst, you will support ongoing cost optimization initiatives, assist in preparing monthly spend analyses, and help drive financial accountability across our customer portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with the FinOps, Sales, Customer Success, and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure customers achieve maximum business value from their AWS investments.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on data analysis, reporting, and execution of FinOps best practices..

Key Responsibilities

  • Support FinOps account reviews by preparing cost, usage, and savings analyses for customers under AllCloud’s reseller program.
  • Assist in identifying optimization opportunities across key AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, etc.).
  • Generate and maintain cost visibility reports using tools like CloudHealth, Umbrella (Anodot), and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and the broader FinOps team to deliver monthly and quarterly optimization reviews.
  • Help customers manage and track AWS commitments and utilization..
  • Support automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual FinOps work and drive operational efficiencies..
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to billing anomalies, trends, or allocation issues.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing, analytical, or technical support role (cloud, finance, or IT environment preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field - or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
  • Confident presenting insights or updates to customers in meetings and written reports.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn about cloud technologies, AWS billing, and FinOps practices.
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple customers or priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Technical teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret cost and usage data.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
  • Basic understanding of AWS services, pricing models, and cost optimization concepts.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong decision-making ability and capacity to work independently.
  • Passion for helping customers optimize technology costs and drive business value.
