DNI is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide entry-level budget and financial support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Corporate Business and Analysis Group and related organizations under the Administrative Services contract. This role supports budget execution by processing financial documents, maintaining records, and helping compile standard reports and summaries for Government financial review. The position is primarily based at Government facilities in China Lake, California and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with budget execution by receiving, sorting, recording, and processing budget-related and financial documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Populate standard reports by extracting and consolidating numerical and financial data from established sources.
  • Use pre-populated formulas and spreadsheet tools to help analyze expenditures and update project or budget tracking data.
  • Compile financial information, prepare informational summaries, and support financial reports, budget documentation, and related data analysis for Government review.
  • Support the recording, reporting, processing, and monitoring of budgetary transactions and monthly status reporting requirements.
  • Handle information at the proper classification level and follow CUI, OPSEC, and DoD financial management requirements.

Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in budget execution, financial analysis, accounting support, or a closely related field.
  • Experience processing financial or budget documentation, performing data entry, compiling reports, and working with spreadsheet-based analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in DoD or Government financial environments is a plus.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, and the ability to consolidate and summarize financial information from multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of CUI handling, OPSEC principles, and DoD financial management standards is preferred.
