As a Payments Sales Associate within the Financial Institutions Group - NA Banks segment, you will be instrumental in supporting Payments Sales Managers in furthering relationships and generating new sales from a diverse client base. Your role will involve effective collaboration with various departments such as client service, compliance, operations, risk, credit, and legal to ensure the best product delivery. You will be responsible for gaining a thorough understanding of the market, our clients' industries, their organizational and operational structures, their partnering processes, and business objectives. Your duties will also include managing a portfolio, facilitating proactive client engagement, collaborating with multiple internal partners, and developing solutions to meet our clients' strategic and complex needs. Furthermore, you will play a significant role in key relationship management initiatives such as billing and pricing, interest rate management, service escalation and resolution, among others.

Job responsibilities
- Understanding the macro environment, industry trends, clients' business goals and strategies to better determine their requirements and identify potential new business opportunities for J.P. Morgan Payments via appropriate solution(s); traditional cash management, FX, International payments, liquidity.
- Develop account plans, briefing memos and support relationship reviews in partnership with the client service organization; understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage and global construct
- Develop strong relationships within client's Treasury, Product and Operations organizations - anticipate client needs/challenges and proactively engage appropriate J.P. Morgan Payments partners to develop comprehensive solutions
- Coordinate/negotiate KYC and onboarding documentation, internal credit processes, and help manage seamless integration with implementation partners - engage appropriate escalation points where necessary to meet client needs while managing expectations
- Review and analyze transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies and conduct pricing analysis and provide go forward strategy/recommendations
- Think outside the box, identify new ways to advance team wide initiatives and help coordinate thought leadership and key industry events
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2 + years experience in cash management, transaction banking, payments or related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
- Goal oriented with the ability to foster innovation and solve problems creatively
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with keen attention to follow-up coordination
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

- BA/BS
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing process/procedures
