Your Impact

The Financial Controller plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring both immediate and long-term fiscal success. This role is responsible for managing a broad range of financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance, while aligning financial strategies with the company’s growth initiatives.


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Financial Controller to lead and manage our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Familiarity with financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to streamline financial operations.

- Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance with financial policies and regulations.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, report variances, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls across corporate and franchised locations.

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, including GAAP, and manage relationships with external auditors.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and the ability to ensure the company’s financial practices comply with relevant laws.

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.


What to Expect

In this role, you can expect to:

- Provides timely and relevant financial analysis to the executive team driving profitability and growth.

- Lead the financial planning, budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cash flow reporting

- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making

- Oversee employees in the Accounting/Payroll division.


What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, Experience with franchising/multi-unit retail locations is highly desirable.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: the proven ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment on operational goals.

- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders, including executives and board members.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong understanding of GAAP regulations

- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, plus benefits and bonus potential.


Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
