Financial Analyst

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Finance team.  This position evaluates financial and operational performance across the portfolio, develops forecasting assumptions, identifies risk and opportunities and provides analytical recommendations to management. 

This position reports to the Manager, Finance and works closely with Leasing, Accounting, Operations and Asset Management. This role requires financial analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex data to support strategic decision making.

Work Arrangement: You will follow a hybrid work model, offering a balanced blend of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads portions of the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including evaluating leasing assumptions, assessing portfolio performance trends and recommending forecast adjustments
• Analyze lease performance, rental rate trends, escalations, WALT, occupancy metrics, NOI drivers and capital expenditure impacts
• Exercise independent judgment in reviewing leasing and operational inputs within Yardi and financial models to ensure alignment with company strategy and financial objectives
• Evaluate financial results against budget and prior forecasts, investigate material variances and provide written and verbal analysis to management
• Develop, enhance and maintain financial and operational models used for scenario analysis and multi-year financial planning
• Prepare executive-level reporting materials and present insights to management
• Contribute to the development and refinement of financial controls, reporting processes and forecasting methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant real estate experience
• Yardi or real estate accounting systems experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with large datasets with the ability to meet recurring deadlines in a structured, process‑driven environment
• Interest in real estate and public company / REIT reporting
• Must be located in Southern California

Compensation

Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $73,000 to $83,000, with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.*The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.
